UVS Boosts Clarets Charge Back to the Premier League

State of the art video technology donated by Burnley firm UVS has helped Sean Dyche and his Clarets team during their promotion-winning season, as well as helping to produce stars of the future.

The company, based in Halifax Road, Briercliffe, provides high quality video display and audio visual solutions to a range of clients and sectors across the world and is a regular matchday sponsor at Turf Moor.

It donated one of its 57-inch display screens to help players and coaching staff with video analysis and tactical preparation at the Barnfield Training Centre, formerly known as Gawthorpe.

The system has been used by the first team, who this summer secured their third promotion to the Premier League in seven seasons.

And the screen is currently being used by the club’s Academy, to analyse performances and help to shape the next generations stars to grace Turf Moor.

The EYE-LCD-5700-HD screen displays high definition images with high brightness, pin-sharp resolution, best image quality, a slim design and low power consumption.

Burnley FC Academy Manager Jason Blake said: “The support of the local community has been key to our success as a club and this generous donation, with its stunning clarity, has been of great assistance to the first team and Academy. Myself, all the coaching staff and the players would like to thank Steve and his team for backing us in this way.”

UVS was formed seven years ago by Burnley man Steve Murphy, a former St Theodore’s High School pupil and an avid Clarets fan, who previously served a five-year technical apprenticeship with Michelin.

He said: “It has been fantastic to watch and support the team this season and we are delighted that they are back in the Premier League. The manager is a keen believer in utilising everything at his disposal to enhance performance by that extra one or two per cent, so if we have helped in that respect in any way we are thrilled.”

UVS employs 12 people and provides high quality video displays for CCTV control rooms, flight simulators, traffic monitoring and blue chip retailers.
