Completed UVS traffic projects include all seven National Highways England Regional Operations Centres, Glasgow Council combined traffic, public space CCTV and multiagency control room, Sheffield Urban Traffic Control Room, Bristol City Council Traffic Control Centre and Derbyshire County Council Control Centre.
UVS are also currently procuring a large 5×3 55-inch LCD video wall and Lucidity video wall controller for a Midlands Transport Authority, which is scheduled for installation very soon.

During traffic incidents, the video wall technology allows operational staff to see both the ‘big picture’ of multiple critical data sources in one place and to also allow single large CCTV images of the incident, which can help keep operational staff fully appraised of how the incident management is progressing.
UVS involvement has included the development of specific integrations between our Lucidity video wall control software and external traffic control applications which are used extensively for traffic monitoring across the whole UK road network.
