UVS & Philips: A Growing Partnership Driving Video Wall Innovation
At UVS, we have been using Philips LCD video wall displays in a variety of projects for some years, and we are now delighted to announce that we will be strengthening our collaboration still further.
Philips Professional Displays (PPDS) is part of the largest display manufacturer in the world, TPV Technology and holds the exclusive global rights to bring Philips branded digital signage, displays, professional TVs and monitors to life.
In the last 12 months the number of Philips video wall LCDs we have used on projects has increased by more than 50%. We are also utilising their new 65-inch 4K resolution video wall displays on a very exciting new project in Scotland.
Collaboration with Philips Professional Displays (PPDS)
As part of our growing partnership, we did our first collaboration with Philips at the Emergency Service Show at the NEC in Birmingham last September, where we provided our Lucidity video wall controller to drive the Philips LED and LCD displays on the booth.
Last month Philips agreed to share a stand with UVS in full collaboration at The Security Event (TSE) 2026 at the NEC.
This turned out to be a superb collaboration and immensely successful, with Philips monitors, Philips Professional Displays and UVS displaying our integrated solutions to the security industry, with Lucidity at the heart of it all.
Our control room video wall installations with Philips include highly secure operations centres for police forces, fire brigades, NHS applications, transport, shopping mall security centres and most recently, a security control room at one of the UK’s most famous and historical London concert and art venues.
UVS are also about to carry out testing with Philips Displays to become a validated partner for our UVS ‘Lucidity inside’ DBD Displays, where our Lucidity video wall controller functionality is made available directly within the display.
PPDS UK Sales Manager Tracy Barrow said: “We are extremely grateful to the team at UVS for the role they’ve played in helping grow the Philips brand within the control room sector.
“Achieving 50% growth is a fantastic milestone, and is a testament to our partnership, commitment, and ongoing collaboration.
“We value the relationship we’ve built and look forward to continuing this momentum together in the future.”
UVS Managing Director Steve Murphy said: “Our customers know that UVS remains manufacturer agnostic in order to provide clients with the absolute optimum solution, however in the last 12 months we have seen a 50 per cent increase in projects where we have used Philips video wall LCDs.
“Our control room video wall installations with Philips include highly secure operations centres for police forces, fire brigades, NHS applications, transport, shopping mall security centres and most recently, a security control room at one of the UK’s most famous and historical London concert and art venues.
“We are delighted to be working so closely with such a global brand and look forward to strengthening the relationship still further in the future.”
